This mitigation bank provides opportunities to enhance streams, wetlands, and open water along the Trinity River. This bank is unique, as it will enhance more than 11 miles of perennial and intermittent streams within the immediate floodplain of the Trinity River by restoring the natural riparian communities within nearly 486 acres of wetlands on the site. The SFTRMB provides its clients with off-site mitigation options to compensate for both permanent and temporary authorized impacts.

The primary service area is the Trinity River basin within the Texas Blackland Prairies ecoregion (USACE– Ft. Worth District).
